Professional Qualifications The title “Patentanwältin” (engl: German Patent Attorney) is a professional title granted by the Federal Republic of Germany. The German Patent Attorneys of ATHENE PATENT are recorded in the register of the German Patent and Trademark Office and is also a member of the Bar Association of German Patent Attorneys (www.patentanwaltskammer.de).
German Patent Attorneys are subject to the provisions of the Patentanwaltsordnung / Patent Attorneys Code (BGBI. I 1966, 557; BIPMZ 1966, 313 last amended BGBI. I 1000; BIPMZ 2008, 312) [Federal Law Gazette] and the Professional Code of Conduct for Patent Attorneys (Communications of the German Patent Attorneys 1997, 243). In addition, they are members of the Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle and are subject to the Professional Code of Conduct (www.ficpi.org).
The European Patent Attorneys (European patent representatives) of ATHENE PATENT are recorded in the register of the European Patent Office and are members of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (www.patentepi.com). European Patent Attorneys are subject to the Professional Code of Conduct (epi-information 2/2001, 75) as well as the disciplinary requirements issued by the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organization.
The European Trademark and Design Attorneys are recorded in the register of the Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs).
